Get the tissues ready because the epic Avengers conclusion is now available to watch on repeat.
We’re happy to admit that we saw Avengers: Endgame more than once at the cinema (ok it was three times!) and there were a few moments that never failed to bring a tear to the eye. With the release of Avengers: Endgame on Blu-Ray™, DVD and Digital we decided to countdown the seven scenes that always hit us in the feels.
“I am Iron Man”
While we had a suspicion Avengers: Endgame would be Iron Man’s last hurrah in the MCU, his ultimate (and final) heroic moment was still the devastating loss we just weren’t prepared for. The realisation that we now have to face the MCU without the quick witted genius is still a reality we’re learning to cope with.
Captain America wielding Mjolnir
Who didn’t cheer when Steve Rogers wielded Thor’s mighty hammer Mjolnir! It’s one of those goosebump inducing scenes that proved Captain America was truly worthy.
Black Widow’s sacrifice
When we found out that Black Widow and Hawkeye’s mission was to bring home the soul stone, we knew we’d be losing one our beloved Avengers. But when Natasha sacrificed herself so that her best friend Hawkeye had the chance to see his family again, our hearts broke.
From Captain America standing alone and broken on the battlefield, to the return of all our beloved superheroes, this scene is the one that deserves a standing ovation. Captain America’s rallying cry of “Avengers Assemble” will go down in cinematic history.
Iron Man hugging Spider-Man
It was Peter Parker that inspired Tony Stark to rejoin the Avengers and fight to bring them back, so it’s a pretty emotional moment when the two reunite on the battlefield.
“I love you 3,000”
Morgan Stark’s adorable line to her father “I love you 3,000” is made that little more heartbreaking when Tony Stark’s hologram repeats the line to Morgan at his funeral. We love you 3000 Iron Man!
Captain America passing on his shield to Falcon
Never failing to fight the good fight, Steve Rogers was the epitome of America’s hero. So in the final scene when he comes back as an old man, having lived a long and happy life with the only woman he ever loved, we can’t help but feel melancholic with this bitter sweet end to the Steve Rogers Captain America story.
Avengers: Endgame is now available to buy on DVD and Digital.
