The White House has issued a new executive order that promotes COVID-19 Safety in Domestic and International Travel. The order mandates both a required quarantine for international travelers and mask mandates during air travel and more.

Per the order, masks are required — effective immediately — in airports, commercial aircraft, trains, public maritime vessels (including ferries), intercity bus services, and all forms of public transportation.

Proof of negative COVID test needed for International Travelers coming to US

Earlier this week we shared the new negative COVID-19 test requirement for international travelers. Those travelers are now also “required to comply with other applicable CDC guidelines concerning international travel, including recommended periods of self-quarantine or self-isolation after entry into the United States.”

Right now the CDC recommends a 7-day quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test after international travel. These recommendations could change. Specific details of the new mask, test, and quarantine mandates are still under review and must be presented to the President in the coming weeks.

The international travel mandates apply to all travelers, including U.S. citizens. If you are traveling from an international location to visit Walt Disney World, these mandates could affect your trip.
