Disney files permit for work at Blizzard Beach ahead of reopening

Disney Blizzard Beach

Disney World is getting ready to reopen Blizzard Beach! To prepare, the company is filing permits for “General Construction” with contractor WDW Buena Vista Construction. The work is for Toboggan Racer water slides, which is one of their popular water park attractions. We’re sure the work will enhance and improve the water slide experience for guests since many are eager to ride!

Great News! Disney Cast members are hard at work to prepare for its reopening on March 7th, 2021, and tickets are now available! First opened to the public on April 1, 1995, this spring will kick off Blizzard Beach’s 25th season.

We are roughly one month away from returning to one of our favorite water parks!

Disney’s One-Day Water Park Ticket (without blackout dates) is now available for $69 + tax (Adult) and $63 + tax (ages 3 – 9). Other ticket options are also available. Tickets can be purchased online at Disneyworld.com and will remain valid through Dec. 31, 2021. Are you planning a 2021 Disney vacation or a day trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach? If so, then now is the perfect time to get your Disney Water Park tickets!

When Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopens, it will operate in alignment with the health and safety protocols implemented throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including reduced capacity, temperature screenings, physical distancing and face coverings. Additional details about reopening can be found here.
